PALMYRA, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Penfield man on a charge of Grand Larceny.
According to deputies, in November of 2017, the sheriff’s office received a call from a Palmyra resident that a contractor he hired to work on his building never completed the job and never reimbursed him his money.
Deputies say Ryan Frawley, 22, of Penfield was operating under the business name of York Enterprise at the time and was contracted and hired to do remodeling and construction work on the residents building in the Village of Palmyra.
The Sheriff’s Office says the resident paid Frawley over $9000.00 to complete the job, but Frawley failed to start the job he was contracted for and paid to complete.
Deputies say the resident had contacted Frawley in an effort to get his money back at the time but Frawley subsequently closed the York Enterprise business and never reimbursed the Palmyra resident as he had agreed to do.
Frawley was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny third degree, for a larceny in excess of $3000.00 dollars.
Deputies say Frawley was arraigned in the Village of Palmyra Justice Court before Justice Rodman and was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to reappear back in the Village of Palmyra Court at a later date and time to answer the charge.
